This is a development release! Make backups of your plug ins. Everything seems to work alright at the moment however. The current list of usable editors:

Systems/Spobs, ships and Deqts will be happening soon. The ships editor will be based on, but not identical to, The Docks' interface.

 

People wanting to write a front end to the text file export feature should download the file specs here.

Not all the editors export details as of yet. Check the export specs file for a list of working exports.

LATEST CHANGES/ADDITIONS...

v0.7.5:

- The govt editor/dudes editor have been changed (internal mods only) to finally fix that no-saving problem that was happening in some circumstances.

v0.7.4:

- The mission editor and govt editor actually SAVE the changes if you click save... DUH!! That was a stupid mistake of mine, I sincerly apologise for wasting everyones time!!

- A few little errors (and a few big ones) were corrected, now things should be normal enough to work with.

v0.7.3:

- Finally the time limit thingy works within usable parameters..

- The bugs reported in the cargo editor are gone now.

v0.7:

- The missions/junk/intro text/govt and fleets editors work.

- Time limit has been put on the app, since it's nearly at release stage - the development versions are supposed to be temporary!

v0.5:
- The weapons editor had a bit of an interface change once once again, it groups things a little better now.
- The cargo names editor works just fine, that will be useful for Mission Editing later on...
- The disasters editor works fine.
- The Dude editor is also fully function. I haven't tested it properly but it seems to work, I made a test plug that turned out right in EVO.

v0.2:
- Outfits editor is fully functional
- You can export resources into tab-delimited text files, each resource is carriage return delimited. There are seperate files for weapons/outfits etc, but all resources of the same type are in the same text file. In addition, the PICTs are exported into a folder in the same directory as the text file. Importing will come later. Those who are interested into making a front end for these text files should direct their attention to the "Export format" document that should have come with this archive.
- Weapons editor has been changed in accordance with some of the feedback. Some of the changes are:
· Animated smoke trail preview.
· Flags are grouped in more ways now.
· Sound list now has a preview button, so you don't have to hear it every time you change the selection.

- The graphics editor is non-modal, ie you can have multiple graphics editors open at the same time, as is with the other editors.

- BIG CHANGE: the app startup is now much, much faster, I redid the load routines and now it rips!!
